I, being a Head of the Arts and Design Department, take the privilege to welcome you into the world of creativity in the form of the Design Industry. MiTE is a leading University that is offering a four-year degree in Bachelors in Fashion Design. We at MiTE have a skilled faculty from the industry who are well-equipped designers with holistic knowledge about designing. The sole purpose to start this program is to create professional responsible designers who will serve our country and industry through innovation, sustainable education, and extensive research.

Program Overview
Vision
To establish ourselves as the institution of academic excellence nationwide, specializing in the domains of Art and Design. Pioneering fashion education in sustainability, creativity, and enhancing the quality of life, we aspire to be acknowledged as the premier institute for inculcating research, innovation, and leadership in the fields of textiles and fashion.
Mission
To train students with global perspective, humanity, social engagement, as well as professional knowledge and skills under the university value of truth, goodness, beauty & faith.
Eligibility Criteria
A minimum of eight semesters duration program after Intermediate or equivalent.
- A person (candidate) holding Intermediate Certificate, A-level or equivalent certificate from any recognized institute with at least 45% marks shall be eligible for admission.
- Admission will be on open merit basis; based on marks obtained in the last degree.
- Age: A candidate must not be more than 23 years of age on 1st October of the year of admission, provided that the Rector/Vice Chancellor may relax age limit in very exceptional cases.
Grade Point Average
- Maximum grade point average 4.00 GPA
- Minimum grade point average for obtaining the degree 2.95 CGPA
To remain on the roll of the Institute a student shall be required to maintain the following minimum CGPA otherwise he/she shall be ceased to be on the Institute roll.
Academic Standing
- A student who maintains the minimum GPA/CGPA for promotion and meets the requirements will be promoted to the next semester.
- A student who does not meet the above requirements may repeat the whole semester once only.
- The course grades that a student earns in the repeated semester shall replace the previously earned course grades.
- During the specified minimum duration for completing the degree, a student may repeat those courses of the previous semesters in which he/she had secured the grade “F”, provided the course load does not exceed the maximum limit of credit hours in a semester. Repetition of lowest grades will be allowed after completing last semester if the CGPA is less than the degree requirement.
