Prof. Dr. Kamran Ahsan and Dr. Waheeduddin Hyder from the Department of Computer Science attended the Sindh Innovative Startups Exhibition 2025 held at Federation House, Karachi. Jointly organized by FPCCI and Sindh Higher Education Commission (Sindh HEC), the event spotlighted homegrown business ideas, promoted import substitution, and encouraged technology-led economic advancement through academia-industry collaboration.

Prof. Dr. Kamran Ahsan attended a thought-provoking seminar titled “AI in Higher Education: A Policy Dialogue”, organized by M.Phil students at the Institute for Educational Development, Aga Khan University, Karachi. The session explored the challenges, implications, and policy considerations of integrating Artificial Intelligence into higher education.

Prof. Dr. Kamran Ahsan and Dr. Waheeduddin Hyder attended the 12th ICACST 2025 at ILMA University, engaging with the latest research and networking in computing technologies.

The session focused on fostering academic linkages, exploring interdisciplinary insights, and building networks to strengthen future research and collaboration opportunities.
