The Founding Trustee of Millennium Institute of Technology & Entrepreneurship, Dr. Faisal Mushtaq is a former Minister for Education, and Human rights, Population & Social Welfare. He is a leading national academician, education reformer and a social entrepreneur. He is the Founder & Chairman of Pakistan’s largest Education Group The Millennium Education, Pakistan. He has been conferred with the prestigious National Civil Award of ‘Tamgha-i- Imtiaz, TI’ by the President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in recognition of his outstanding services in the field of education, youth development public sector. He is recognized as one of the 500 most influential Muslims of the world for the last three consecutive years. Faisal Mushtaq is also the founder and CEO of a non – profit organization ‘Change in Education Foundation’ working in support of ‘Public Private Partnerships’ across education and thus scaling Millennium Development Goals. Thus far, he has successfully reformed more than 250 government schools across various districts, provinces and rural communities in Pakistan. He has been conferred with an honorary Doctorate of Education degree by the leading global university, University of Hertfordshire, for his services to education in Pakistan.

Prof. Dr. Huma Baqai, Rector of the Millennium Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship (MiTE) in Karachi, is a distinguished scholar, author, and educator with over 25 years of academic and professional experience. She previously served as an Associate Professor of Social Sciences & Liberal Arts at IBA Karachi and has made substantial contributions to teaching and research, including authoring three books. Dr. Baqai has published more than 40 research articles and book chapters in national and international forums. With over two decades of media engagement in electronic and print platforms, she is also a certified corporate trainer and content developer, bringing 15 years of active training expertise. Her dedication to excellence extends to her role on several advisory and governance boards, where she lends her expertise to various organizations.

Prof. Dr. Kamran Ahsan (a computer scientist), after completing his PhD from Staffordshire University, UK, with a vast experience of teaching and research projects, Dr Ahsan returned to Pakistan with the spirit to serve the country and its people. He is an avid researcher and takes highest level of responsibility in ensuring the integrity of the research process. Dr. Ahsan has one patent to his credit while 4 others are almost finishing the process. He is widely published for his research in the area of disaster and health management through mobile technology which particularly includes his work for the disabled. In the limited span of time he has earned great respect for his research, he has chaired several international conferences and worked on multiple funded projects. Currently serving as a Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, and Director of ORIC (Additional Charge) at MiTE (Millennium Institute of Technology & Entrepreneurship). He has served as the Director of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) for a fairly long tenure in which he has initiated the entire department and its processes.

Dr. Waheeduddin received B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Near East University, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Turkey with majors in computer networks and communications. Later he pursued his studies by earning Master of Science in Networking and Telecommunication from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi, Pakistan. Due to his keen interest in computer research, he earned Ph.D. degree from Universidad de Málaga, Málaga, Spain. He has many high impact factor publications, and he is an active member of the Institute of Oceanic Engineering Research, Universidad de Málaga

Dr. Muhammad Azhar Hussain earned Ph.D. Computer Science from Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan. He is currently associated with the Millennium Institute of Technology & Entrepreneurship as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science. His main interest area of research is to explore the potential of technology in supporting persons with disability and elderly people who face age-related problems. He has published 21 research papers in different national / international journals and had 01 patent on his credit.

Dr. Ervin Sejdic received his B.E.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, in 2002 and 2008, respectively. He completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Toronto (Bloorview Kids Rehab) and Harvard Medical School (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center). From 2011 to 2021, he served as a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh before joining the University of Toronto, where he currently holds the position of Research Chair in Artificial Intelligence for Health Outcomes at North York General Hospital. Dr. Sejdić has authored over 200 scientific publications and received several prestigious honors, including the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (2016), the NSF CAREER Award (2017), and the Chancellor’s Distinguished Research Award (2018). He serves as Editor-in-Chief of Biomedical Engineering Online and Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering and Digital Signal Processing. His research focuses on biomedical signal processing, gait and swallowing analysis, rehabilitation engineering, assistive technologies, and AI-driven healthcare systems, bridging engineering innovation with impactful medical applications.

Dr. Mohammad Ilyas is a Professor in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Boca Raton, Florida, where he has served since 1983. He has held several leadership roles, including Chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (1994–2000), Associate Dean for Research (2002–2011), and Dean of the College (2011–2017). He also served as Interim Associate Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies (2004–2005). Dr. Ilyas holds four academic degrees from four countries. He earned a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from UET Lahore (Pakistan), an M.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Shiraz University (Iran), and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University (Canada). In 2015, he received his second Ph.D. in Educational Leadership – Higher Education from FAU, with research focused on globalization and higher education. His research spans computer communication networks, wireless sensor networks, IoT, AI, smart systems, healthcare technologies, and performance modeling. Dr. Ilyas has over 265 publications, including one book and 26 handbooks, and has supervised 18 Ph.D. dissertations and 38 M.S. theses. He continues to mentor doctoral students and serves as a consultant to national and international organizations.He is a Life Senior Member of IEEE, Fellow of IIIS, and served as a Fulbright Specialist (2017–2022).

Prof. Muhammad Zeeshan Shakir is a Professor of Wireless Communication and Director of the Digital Connectivity and Innovation Centre at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). With over 20 years of experience, he has secured nearly £10 million in research funding from organizations such as Innovate UK, ERASMUS, the UK Government, Qatar National Research Fund, the British Council, NIHR, and the Scottish Government. His research focuses on 5G/6G networks, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Prof. Shakir has authored over 200 publications and contributed to 10 books, earning several prestigious awards, including the Innovate UK Award of Excellence (2018, 2023), the Herald Higher Education Award (2023), the SAMEE STEM Diversity and Inclusion Award (2022), and the IEEE Communications Society Awards (2019, 2021). He plays an active leadership role in IEEE, serving as Executive Chair for IEEE ICC 2026 in Glasgow and leading emerging technologies committees. Prof. Shakir is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), and a member of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Young Academy of Scotland, highlighting his dedication to innovation, education, and global collaboration.

Dr Raza Hasan, SFHEA, MBCS, FBCS, is a Senior Lecturer in Computing at Southampton Solent University, specialising in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and data analytics. With over 15 years of academic experience, he has taught and supervised students in Pakistan, Oman, Malaysia, and the UK, combining global teaching expertise with impactful research in learning analytics, educational data science, and applied data analytics.

Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Rajermani Thinakaran is a distinguished faculty member at the Faculty of Data Science and Information Technology, INTI International University, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. She currently leads the Knowledge and Technology Research Cluster, where she actively contributes to research development, scholarly publications, and collaborations with both local and international researchers. Dr. Rajermani’s research expertise encompasses a wide range of interdisciplinary domains, including Artificial Intelligence, Assistive Technology, eLearning, and Gaming. Her work emphasizes not only the theoretical foundations of these fields but also the practical aspects of design, implementation, and sustainability. Through her research, she aims to bridge the gap between technology and human-centered innovation, fostering advancements that enhance learning experiences, accessibility, and digital inclusivity.

Thobile Ngcamphalala is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at the University of Pretoria and is pursuing her PhD in Mathematics at Rhodes University , specializing in Pointfree Topology. She earned her Master’s degree in Topology from Rhodes University and has published her research in Applied General Topology. Thobile is passionate about advancing mathematical knowledge, inspiring students, and contributing to the mathematical community through both research and teaching.

Dr. Bilal Muhammad Khan is a notable researcher and academic leader with over 24 years of experience in research, design, and development within Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Networks. He earned his PhD in Wireless Networks from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom, and currently serves at the Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). His research expertise spans Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless and Mobile Communications, with a special focus on Wireless Sensor Networks and Ad-hoc Networks. Dr. Bilal has made notable contributions in the areas of optimization techniques, mathematical and system modelling, MAC layer protocols, radio resource management, and energy-efficient network design. Renowned for his academic excellence, innovation, and leadership, He continues to play a pivotal role in advancing research collaboration between academia and industry, fostering innovation and excellence in evolving technologies.

Dr. Shahid Munir Shah is a distinguished Professor and Head of the Department at the Faculty of Computing & Engineering Sciences. With over 18 years of teaching and research experience at prestigious national and international institutions, he holds a PhD in Information Technology with a research focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Dr. Shahid has made significant contributions to both academia and research, with expertise spanning Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Medical Imaging, and related domains. He remains committed to advancing knowledge, promoting research excellence, and mentoring the next generation of professionals in Computer Science and Information Technology.
Dr. Amir Mehmood is a distinguished academician and researcher with over 21 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. He is currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Computing at Al-Kawthar University, Karachi, where he oversees curriculum development, research initiatives, and faculty advancement. Dr. Mehmood holds a PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in Communication and Networks. His research portfolio includes contributions to Sensor Network Applications, Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Forensics, and Cyber Security. He has been actively involved in numerous national and international research collaborations addressing modern technological challenges. Dr. Mehmood’s scholarly work reflects a strong commitment to innovation, interdisciplinary research, and knowledge dissemination.
Dr. Wazir Ali is an Assistant Professor and In-Charge of the AI Program at Aror University, Sukkur. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Turku University, Finland. His research focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP), information extraction, text classification, representation learning, opinion mining, and large language models. His work has been published in top NLP journals and conferences, including ACL, LREC, and WASSA, with one paper nominated for the Best Paper Award at the Student Research Workshop associated with RANLP-2021. He serves on the scientific committees of WASSA and Insights (2022–2024), reviews for leading journals in NLP and computer vision, and is a member of the Neural Network Society (NNS), ACM, and ACL. He is also the founding director and CEO of SoloGen-AI Pvt. Ltd., bridging advanced research with practical AI solutions.

Dr. Muhammad Faizan Shirazi is an Associate Professor at NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from K-N University, South Korea, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Michael G. Hissa Institute, USA. Dr. Shirazi specializes in wireless communications, sensor networks, and mobile system design, with extensive experience in modeling, simulation, cross-layer protocols, and energy-efficient networks. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences, contributing significantly to both theoretical and applied research. At NEDUET, he leads advanced research projects and mentors graduate students, fostering innovation and practical skills in computing and networking.

Dr. Muhammad Ayaz Shirazi is an Associate Professor at Iqra University (Main Campus), Karachi, with a strong foundation in electronics engineering. He earned his B.E. in Electronics Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan, and completed his Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from Kyungpook National University, South Korea. He also served as a post‑doctoral researcher at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology), where his work focused on computer vision, deep learning, camera calibration, 3D reconstruction and structured‑light imaging. His research portfolio spans augmented reality, machine/deep learning, digital image processing, active/passive stereo vision, and 3D scanning systems. At Iqra University, Dr. Shirazi guides graduate students, leads R&D projects, and contributes to proposal development and industry collaborations. Recognized for his ability to translate advanced imaging and vision technologies into innovative applications, he continues to bridge academic research and practical technological solutions.
Dr. Asma Sanam is an Assistant Professor at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) and a researcher whose work focuses on adaptive decision-making for autonomous agents. She earned her PhD in Computer Science from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, in 2019. Her doctoral dissertation, “A framework of adaptive decision making for a team of autonomous agents,” presents an evolutionary computation–based system (SASO) that explicitly models opponents, optimizes strategies offline, and adapts decisions in real time during adversarial multi-agent interactions. Her research investigates how autonomous agents learn and adjust their behavior by building opponent models from past actions and classifying them into strategic types to refine counter-strategies. Dr. Asma’s contributions demonstrate strong integration of autonomous systems, evolutionary computation, and real-time adaptive strategy, with applications in multi-agent simulation environments and AI-driven social-impact initiatives.

Dr. Sarwat Iqbal is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science, Master of Computer Science (MCS), and Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology. Her academic and research interests encompass Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, and she is actively engaged in promoting innovative teaching methodologies and research in the field of Computer Science. She has contributed to scholarly publications and is committed to mentoring students, guiding research projects, and fostering critical thinking and practical skills. She continues to play a pivotal role in advancing computing education, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, and preparing the next generation of professionals for emerging challenges in technology.
MICETC 2025 invites researchers, academicians, and practitioners to submit original research papers showcasing innovative ideas and significant contributions in the field of computing and emerging technologies. All submissions must be formatted according to the official IEEE conference paper template. Please ensure that the language is clear and easy to understand without grammatical and spelling mistakes.

Formatting Requirements
Ensure that your manuscript complies with these formatting rules. Submissions that do not conform to the IEEE template will be returned for revision.
Once your paper is submitted, it will undergo a rigorous peer-review process. Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on originality, technical soundness, clarity, and relevance to the conference themes.
Plagiarism and Originality
We take plagiarism very seriously. IEEE defines plagiarism as the use of someone else’s prior ideas, processes, results, or words without appropriate attribution. To maintain academic integrity, authors must ensure that their submissions are free from plagiarism.
Originality
All papers must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submissions found to contain plagiarized material or previously published content will be rejected. A similarity index of greater than 15% may result in the paper being rejected.
Self-Plagiarism
Authors must avoid self-plagiarism, which includes copying large sections from their own previously published work without citation. If your new submission builds upon previous research, ensure proper citation and contextualization.
If plagiarism is detected after publication, the paper will be retracted, and the authors may face further consequences.
