The MS-Computer Science program is intended for those students who are looking forward to building upon knowledge and skills of computer science. The MS-Computer Science program takes a step forwards advanced courses and covers topics in the domains of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology and Security, and Computer Networking and Security.
The main objective of MS Computer Science Program is to empower the students with the knowledge, training, and expertise at relatively high level in the major areas of the Computer Science. Proposed program is intended to establish independent learning skills of the students and prepare them for the doctoral level study.
We aim to enhance the academic, scholastic and technological knowledge of the students to make them more competitive in the research field. Enable the students to contribute to the economy of Pakistan through entrepreneurship and innovative technological solutions for the real-world problems of the global / local industry and society.
The minimum requirements for admission in a MS Computer Science program are
A student selected for admission having deficiency in the above stated courses is required to study above FOUR courses, which must be passed in the first two semesters. Deficiency courses shall be determined by the department Graduate Research Committee, before admitting the student.
The Minimum duration for completion of MS Computer Science program is 2 years and maximum duration is 4 years. A generalize semester wise break-up is as follows:
