MiTE recently hosted TechXplore 2024, an exciting Higher Nationals Computing Project Showcase organized by the Department of Computing and IT. The event served as a culmination of months of hard work and innovation, providing students with a professional platform to exhibit their projects in fields like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), Software Development, and Data Science.

With the theme “From Classroom to Exhibit,” the showcase illustrated how academic knowledge is being transformed into practical, real-world solutions. Held in the Blockchain Room on the 2nd floor, the event welcomed faculty members, industry experts, alumni, and fellow students who engaged with the presenters and offered valuable feedback.

This hands-on exposure not only helped boost students’ confidence but also bridged the gap between academic learning and industry readiness. Students were applauded for their creativity, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively. TechXplore reaffirmed MiTE’s vision to promote innovation-driven education that prepares students for the future of tech.
